Ottavia Catenacci (she/her)

Ottavia Catenacci is an Italian dancer and choreographer based in Copenhagen.

She holds a BFA in Scenography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino and a BFA in Dance and Choreography from the Danish National School of Performing Arts. She was an apprentice at Dance Theatre Heidelberg and Danish Dance Theatre. She has performed in works by Masako Matsushita, Maria Francesca Guerra, Samuel Feldhandler, Snorre Elvin, Renan Martins, Matija Ferlin, Iván Pérez, Doris Uhlich and Aske Thiberg. Among her choreographic works there are godsibb (2022), Gossip Body (2023). She has an ongoing collaboration with Ella Östlund in YOUR HEART OUT.

Ottavia is currently pursuing an MFA in Choreography at the Danish National School of Performing Arts.
